Black Cat and Scared Ghosts – Gothic Halloween Print

The cat is not scared. The cat has never been scared. The ghosts, however, are having a completely different experience. The Black Cat and Scared Ghosts Art Print by Unique Not Freak captures that specific dynamic perfectly — a black cat doing exactly what black cats do, while two little ghosts on the sofa look like they’d very much like to leave but can’t figure out how.

Created from original mixed-media artwork using traditional pen, pencil, ink, graphite, and acrylic wash techniques, this print has the warm, handmade quality of a beloved illustration rather than a digital reproduction. It’s funny, it’s gothic, it’s deeply relatable to anyone who has ever shared a home with a cat.

Each print is signed on the back by the artist, individually bagged with a supportive backing board, and stamped with the Unique Not Freak logo. Available matted with your choice of black or white mat, ready for framing.

🖤 Did You Know? Cats have been associated with the supernatural for centuries — considered guardians against evil spirits in ancient Egypt, and familiars to witches in European folklore. Given all that history, it makes complete sense that a black cat would be entirely unbothered by a couple of ghosts on the sofa. Ancient supernatural guardian. Apex couch occupier. Completely unimpressed.
